Inaprubahan ng Pasig City Council and P1.2 bilyon na budget para sa mga gagamiting tablet ng mga mag-aaral at laptop sa mga guro sa darating na pasukan sa August 24.
Sa paliwanag ni Pasig City Rep. Roman Romula, ang LGU ay maglalaan ng P1 bilyon para sa proyektong ito.
Ang Pasig ay may 140,000 na mag-aaral at inaasahang 138,000 elementarya at high school ay makaktanggap ng tablet computer.
Ayon kay Vice Mayor Christian Caruncho-Bernardo kasali rin ang mga daycare, grade school, at special education (SPED).
Sinigurado naman ni Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto na well coordinated ito sa Department of Education (DepEd).
