Teacher Urges Parents to Refrain from Giving Money Garlands During Graduation Ceremonies

  • by

A teacher and content creator has called on parents to stop distributing Money Garlands to their children during graduation ceremonies.

In a Facebook post, Alice Ecila expressed concerns that parents flaunting their wealth in this manner could negatively impact the mental health of other graduating students.

Money Garlands are elaborate ribbons made by stacking paper bills together.

Be responsible in all our actions,” she added.

The post has already garnered thousands of shares on social media.

Another netizen, also commented “Very well said.
