DepEd Distributes Learning Materials to Typhoon-Hit Schools in CamSur

The Department of Education (DepEd), led by Education Secretary Sonny Angara, has distributed essential learning materials and digital resources to schools affected by recent typhoons in Camarines Sur. This initiative marks the first phase of DepEd’s efforts to assist in recovery and ensure quality education.

Gainza Central School received teaching kits and digital tools from UNICEF, while Bula Central School was given learning packs and whiteboards through USAID’s Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines (ABC+) Project.

Additionally, Angara inaugurated the province’s first learning and development center, iLEAD, to support teachers’ professional growth. DepEd pledged continued support to address the region’s educational needs.
