The Department of Education (DepEd) now has a new official vehicle the Mitsubishi Strada pickup truck.
Mitsubishi Motors Carworld Pampanga delivered 166 units of Strada 4×4 GLS MT to DepEd San Fernando Pampanga last October 1.
These new vehicles will be added to the 88 units released to the Agency last December 5, 2019, bringing the total purchased vehicles to 254 units.
The Strada trucks will be used by DepEd field engineers to conduct regular field inspections. Moreover, they will be used as rescue vehicles of the National Disaster Risk Reduction Council in times of emergency.
According to TopGear Philippines 1 unit cost P1,465,000 provided they were bought at SRP.
“No school division office will be left behind, as we continue to gear up our actions, hold on the wheels of our goals, focus on our vision, and have a safe ride with our mission,” DepEd undersecretary Alain Del Pascua said during the turnover ceremony.
LausGroup of Companies President Paul Laus says they are more than willing to assist DepEd on its mission.
“We are honored to have been selected as the official vehicle of the Department of Education. We guarantee the government agency that the Strada is a very reliable pickup truck that is built to be durable and engineered to deliver outstanding performance. Mitsubishi Carworld Pampanga is also committed to provide excellent service for the regular maintenance of the vehicles,” Laus said.
Do you think the Agency made the right choice choosing Strada as their official pickup truck?
