Here’s an updated list of schools where in-person classes have been halted due to severe heat conditions:
- Sultan Kudarat: All levels suspended until April 30, 2024.
- Quezon City: All public schools suspended from April 17 onwards.
- Banga, South Cotabato: Afternoon classes in both public and private schools suspended until April 30.
- Sarangani Province: Suspension of all levels in public and private schools until April 19, 2024.
- Angeles City: Suspension of all levels in public schools.
- Polomolok, South Cotabato: Suspension of all levels in public and private schools until April 30, 2024.
- Tarlac Agricultural University: Suspension extended until May 17, 2024.
- LGU San Miguel, Isabela: Suspension of public elementary and secondary schools until April 26, 2024.
- Province of Sultan Kudarat: All levels suspended until April 30, 2024.
Continuous updates are in progress. Students are encouraged to stay hydrated, stay indoors when temperatures are at their peak, dress lightly, and refrain from strenuous activities.
