GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter Subject and Learner Objectives

Instructional objectives serve as goals that teachers have set in the achievement of a greater goal. They also tell students what is expected of them. Instructional objectives make definite the direction in which teaching leads and become the focus of instruction, not only for the teachers, but also for the students.

Araling Panlipunan (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
Naipamamalas ang pang-unawa sa mga gawaing pangkabuhayan at bahaging ginagampanan ng pamahalaan at ang mga kasapi nito, mga pinuno at iba pang naglilingkod tungo sa pagkakaisa ,kaayusan at kaunlaran ng mga lalawigan sa kinabibilangang rehiyon. Naiuugnay ang kapaigiran sa uri ng pamumuhay ng kinabibilangang lalawigan.

Arts (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
The learner: demonstrates understanding of shapes, colors, textures, and emphasis by variation of shapes and texture and contrast of colors through sculpture and crafts; creates a single puppet based on character in legends, myths or stories using recycled and hard material, creates a mask or headdress that is imaginary in design using found and recycled materials, demonstrates basic skills in constructing a puppet made from a hard and stick, which can be manipulated

Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
Naipamamalas ang pag-unawa sa kahalagahan ng pananalig sa Diyos,paggalang sa sariling paniniwala at paniniwala sa iba hinggil sa Diyos,pagkakaroon ng pag-asa at pagmamahal bilang isang nilikha. Naisasabuhay ang paggalang sa paniniwala ng iba tungkol sa Diyos.

English (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
The learners identify and use the elements of an informational/factual text heard; Activate prior knowledge based on the stories to be read; Identify cause and effect; Show understanding of a story by presenting them in through dramatization, role-playing, etc.; Interpret simple maps of unfamiliar places, signs and symbols; Write a simple story; Show how spoken words are represented by written letters that are arranged in a specific order; Match words, phrases and sentences containing these words with pictures; Read words with vowel digraphs ea and ee and phrases, sentences and stories containing these words; Read aloud from familiar prose and poetry consisting of Long vowel words with fluency, appropriate rhythm, pacing and intonation; Use punctuations including commas, periods and question marks to guide reading for fluency.

Filipino (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
Naipamamalas ang kakayahan sa mapanuring pakikinig at pag-unawa sa napakinggang. Naisasagawa ang mapanuring pagbasa upang mapalawak ang talasalitaan. Naipapamalas ang kakayahan at tatas at pagsasalita at pagpapahayag ng sariling ideya,kaisipan,karanasan at damdamin.

Health (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
The learner demonstrates understanding of risks to ensure road safety and in the community; demonstrates consistency in following safety rules to road safety and in the community.

Mathematics (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
Demonstrates understanding of conversion of time, linear, mass and capacity measures and area of square and rectangle. Able to apply knowledge in the conversion of time, linear, mass and capacity measures and area of rectangle and square in mathematical problems and real-life situations.

Mother Tongue MTB (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
Relates one’s own experiences and ideas related to the topics using a variety of words with proper phrasing and intonation. Use words unlocked during story reading in meaningful contexts. Identifies and uses adjectives appropriate for the grade level.

Music (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)

The learner demonstrates understanding of the concepts of tempo in order to respond to conducting symbols indicating in tempo. Enhances performances of poetry, chants, drama, musical stories, and songs by using a variety of tempo.

Physical Education (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
The learner demonstrates understanding of movement activities relating to person, objects, music and environment; performs movement activities involving person, objects, music and environment correctly.

Science (GRADE 3 – 3rd Quarter)
The learner demonstrates understanding of people, animals, plants, lakes, rivers, streams, hills, mountains, and other importance. Express their concerns about their surroundings through teacher-guided and self –directed activities.

The Department of Education (DepEd) underscored the crucial role of well-prepared and well-planned lessons in the delivery of quality teaching and learning in schools, given the appeal to put a halt on the implementation of the DepEd Order No. 42, s. 2016, or the Policy Guidelines on Daily Lesson Preparation for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.

The Department highlighted that lesson planning is a core skill that should have already been developed during any professional teacher’s pre-service training/undergraduate preparation.
