Selection of new uniform designs for DepEd employees


The Department of Education (DepEd) released an advisory regarding the selection of new uniform designs for its employees.

Designers, dressmakers, and tailor are welcome to participate in the selection process.

ATTENTION: All uniform designers, dressmakers, and tailors

The Department of Education is currently undertaking the selection of new designs for its employee uniforms. Those who are interested to participate in the selection process may submit their design samples and other requirements on February 28, 2020 from 8 am to 12 pm at the Employee Welfare Division, 4/F Mabini Bldg., DepEd Central Office, Pasig City.

The Department of Education, through the DepEd uniform Committee (DUC), is currently undertaking the selection of new uniform designs for its employees.

This serves as an invitation to all uniform designers, dressmakers, and tailors who are interested to participate in the selection process. Participants shall submit the following:



  1. Prototype samples of the uniform design (at least four designs in different colors) mounted in a mannequin.
  2. Company profile; and
  3. Brief description of the textile materials (including origin and availability in the market).

The DUC select four (4) designs (male and female) from the submitted prototype samples for the teaching and non-teaching personnel of DepEd based on the following general considerations:

  1. Ready and general availability of the textile materials in the market;
  2. Uniqueness, comfort, and over-all look to convey presentability, modesty, and integrity as a public school teacher;
  3. Applicability of the design in different colors and fabrics including the use of tropical fabrics; and
  4. Cost of producing a set of uniform.

Interested participants may submit the above requirements of February 28, 2020 (08:00 – 12:00 nn) to the DUC through its Secretariat (Employee Welfare Division) at 4th floor Mabini Bldg., DepEd Central Office, Pasig City.

The DepEd shall have the sole and exclusive rights to the chosen design/s. Participation to this activity shall be considered as acknowledgment/agreement to the aforesaid condition.
