DBM: Gov’t employees to receive full salaries, but no early 13th-month pay

The national government will release full salaries to all its employees, but no directive yet for the early release of 13h month pay.

“All national government employees are receiving their full salaries even if they are working from their homes,” Budget Secretary Wendel Avisado said.

Government workers are assured of the release of full salary even if they are working from their homes. A relief especially to those greatly affected by the community quarantine.

For the 13th month pay Avisado said “there is no directive from the President yet” to release the 13th month pay of state workers way ahead of the schedule.

  1. We already received our March and April Salaries but with deductions. The President said that PLIs should not charge us fines if our loans are not deducted. Also DepEd Secretary mentioned the same thing. Di po siguro malinaw sa ating mga Finance officers yun. kaya wala din natira sa saho ko. Sad to say.

    Full salary means no loan deduction? We are hoping that the private lending will not deduct our monthly amortization only for the month of April2020 to increase the net takehomepay.
