DepEd starts releasing 2018 PBB


The Department of Education (DepEd) on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, started releasing the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) for the fiscal year 2018 to all eligible school-based personnel in the agency.

According to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Regions II, Regions IV-A, Region V, and Region XII are ready for the release of funds.

Some teachers, schools in Cotabato and Region XII confirmed that they already received their PBB. Thanks to social media like Facebook we can get updates in just snap of a finger.

PBB according to DepEd is a top-up incentive given to government personnel of bureaus or delivery unit in accordance to their contribution to the accomplishment of their department’s overall targets and commitments.

In a time such as this, incentives like PBB will be a great help to provide for our basic needs. Thank you to DepEd for their efforts in getting us approved.
