The Department of Education (DepEd) reminded parents over the weekend to enroll their children until Tuesday, June 30 for the upcoming school year 2020 to 2021.
DepEd, in a statement on Saturday, said parents and students can submit Learner Enrollment Survey Forms (LESF) via drop boxes until June 30.
“The Department of Education is reminding those who still intend to enroll in public schools to do so on or before June 30, 2020, Tuesday, as it is about to wrap up its month-long enrollment period,” it said in a statement.
“For questions on the enrollment and other initiatives of DepEd in the upcoming school year, parents and learners can contact nearest division office or school,” it added.

As of June 27, only 15 million have enrolled out of the 27 million expected by the department.
“As of June 27, 8 a.m., total enrollment data were at 15,182,075 nationwide, with 14,548, 915 registered in public schools, including those in the Alternative Learning System,” it added.
DepEd set a month-long enrollment for the upcoming school year this June with the first two weeks dedicated to online enrollment, while the remaining two weeks made use of drop boxes for the registration of students.
Classes are set to open on Aug. 24 through blended learning as traditional face-to-face classes remain prohibited due to the threat of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
