As part of the government’s efforts to contain and mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the country has been put on varying levels of quarantine and has established stringent social distancing measures. These as well as other government interventions necessary in the management of COVID-19 are expected to have implications on the opening of classes for SY 2020-2021. The Department of Education (DepEd) is conducting this survey to better inform its policies and decisions. DepEd values the consultation and involvement of its stakeholders in the decision-making process, particularly those who will be significantly affected by the decision/s relative to the opening of classes.

August po. Sana nga Covid free na ang Pilipinas sa panahong iyon. Kahit naman po kase sabihing free na, marami pa rin mangangambang mga magulang na papasukin ang mga anak nang ganoon na lang. Medyo nakakatrauma po kase ang mga nangyayari sa ngayon. Mahirap makipagsapalaran. Isa pa po, usually bago pasukan namimili ng mga gamit pampaaralan. Malamang siksikan na naman sa mga bilihan. Nakakatakot po.

Much better po cguro by September na or kung kailan totally covid free na ang Pilipinas, mas mabilis po kasi magkahawaan if mgakaroon ng kahit isa man lng na covid positive sa school kasi dikit dikit ang estudyante,, at mhirap epa implement ang social distance lalo na sa mga bata pa, at ang kukulit pa kasi nila. Preferably, August synchronizing with most universities and some colleges. DepEd must have a contingency plan during Summer if ever they will push through that on August.
